Recognition Dinner
The Board of Directors for Claremont Meals on Wheels sponsors a Recognition Dinner for the packers, deliverers, day captains, intake, routing, administration, and maintenance workers who give unselfishly of their time and labor to support local residents with nourishment and human contact five days a week, 52 weeks a year. While the volunteers are asked to pay for their dinner, the generosity of local businesses supports the Board’s endeavor with raffle prizes in appreciation of our volunteers. For several years, thanks to generous local and corporate businesses, every attendee volunteer has been rewarded with a gift by the end of the evening.
